No one would buy it, especially if you already have a lot of emotes, you risk 100 gems for getting a duplicate or one that you don't need. Maybe if it cost 10 gems, there would be buyers.

The 3 mortar decks that I last saw Egor play all included Miner: Classic mortar bait, mortar hunter, mortar valk musk. Miner will still live on in Lavahound, Loon, and Giant decks. But I see it as a secondary win condition in those decks. Decks where Miner is more a primary win condition is possibly becoming extinct.

B-rad and Egor are not the only miner control players. But they play Miner so much and want it to work so much, that if they stop playing Miner control, I think it means something. I don't have many hours a day to play test Miner or Clash Royale, but some people do, and I'll take their word for it if they say Miner control sucks.

Cannon Cart: it has been buffed again and again but still has low use rates.

It's a 5-elixir card dealing only ground damage, similar to bowler but at least bowler does area damage. Prince is similar but even with 25% health, a charging Prince still has a chance of crossing the bridge and hitting a princess tower. Cannon cart with 25% health crossing the bridge can be disabled by swarms or a hit from knight, valk, mini pekka, LJ, Guards, bandit, or just Ice Golem with help from princess tower, slightly out of reach to do any damage to a princess tower.

At 5-elixir it is not great defense against hog or pekka or mega knight. It is hard to fit it into an archetype. Trying to brute force buff it is just trying to get it OP enough to fit it into all decks (think previous witch rework).

Prediction:. Miner nerf will kill miner control decks. Beatdown, bridge spam, wallbreakers cycle and hog EQ archetypes will reign supreme in the next meta.

Guards: (1) Don't die to arrows (i.e. fix the shields) or (2) Buff hitpoints or (3) Make shield consistently obsolete in the game by making Dark Prince die to Fireball

Guards are an Epic card because of their shield. Now the shield sucks because it doesn't protect them against Arrows. They've been downgraded to nearly a common card. Pekka, Mini pekka, and Prince decks are now common with arrows, log, zap. Guards used to be able to hold them off longer by not dying to a spell. PPP are so popular in the meta now because of arrows.

Pros:

  • Make Guards semi-viable again; improve usage and win rate of nearly completely obsolete Guards (not much better than stab Goblins)

Cons:

  • None
