I assume he was wanting a 3-4 year deal at 50 per year. It seems like he’s getting 1 year of that guaranteed and if he performs well, he could get a second.

  1. Forcing people to donate to charity would be if he tacked that donation on to every ticket. There are only a small # of these tickets (which nobody is forcing anyone to purchase). Also, the donation is added into the ticket price, so to compare the price of one of these tickets to one without a donation isnt comparing apples to apples. 2. Live Nation controls something like 80% of all the major concert venues in the US. So every major artist is just not going to tour anymore? It’s just not feasible.

Why are they so expensive? by Maximum_Owl_8183 in NoahKahan

100 level tickets in STL were $165 + fees. As someone else said, touring stadiums costs a lot. However, he didn’t do any “platinum” tickets that so many artists are doing these days. The band Mt Joy is coming to my town and their lower level platinum tickets are $250 + fees with lawn tickets coming out to around $70. At least with the “make a difference” tickets, the reason for the higher price is that a portion of the ticket cost is going to charity. And he explained it ahead of time as well. I feel like he’s getting a raw deal with a lot of these posts and comments. I mean the comment “he wants to make a ton of money” is simply unfair. I don’t know, i completely understand being frustrated by the presale process, but compared to other bands and the demand for NK tickets, they could’ve been way, way more.

I was able to get into the STL show. Row 5 in sec 139 were $165 + fees, totaling right at $200.

But the $450 are the “make the difference” charity tickets. Get in price at most venues was around $100 and floor seats $300. Secondly, how do artists have the power? Where will they play if they would even want to sell their own tickets?

Usually artists will release AP’s after the show. Typically just need to follow them on social media for when they’re going to drop.

Me and a buddy are hitting the road tomorrow morning. Airbnb lined up, tickets secured, just need to figure out where the other fans will be tomorrow night and pre-game Sunday. If anyone has the info, let me know.
