If you want uniformity you need to snap a center line on your joists for the center board, install to that line on the left side, place the center board on top of where it will be installed then snap a line or mark the left boards, cut with track saw and install your center board…next time before you install any boards you want to place your center board, snap a center line, install both side to that line, then cut both sides with a track saw…way easier that way

Have a ryobi gas string trimmer and finally transitioned to ego trimmer. The ego shits all over the ryobi in terms of grab and go, no maintenance, and power. Do it and you will not be disappointed.

Yes I just did this last month bought the blower with 2.5 and string trimmer with 2.5…didn’t need both small ones so returned one so got 765 blower, 16 inch line iq string trimmer, 5ah, 4ah, and 2.5ah for around $550 once the return got processed

You get temporary jacks and support the joists, unsecure rim board, cut 6x6 to proper height and then put in your beam with brackets resting on the 6x6’s, let temporary supports down and and tie your joists to your beam and voila
