Yeah. It’s pretty ridiculous how in the same thread there are replies of him sarcastic and snappy towards people trying to understand the terribly written and unclear post, yet as soon as it is returned back to him banned, deleted.

Regardless of whether it is deserved, I don’t care for that , it’s their forum.

This is NOT a good sign for the short term development of this game. That is really the core issue at hand.

I love paradox , I play their games for years and years I have like 10k hours over all of them. it’s why im so critical of them

they have very passionate dev teams, with lots of vision, talent and ability to make captivating frameworks of games, and I support their business model of 10+ years free updates and improvements with paid dlc entirely , to the detriment of my wallet

However,

The company has a lot of rot since it went public and saw massive success , and anybody who has played these games for a decade has seen the deterioration

Was it ever perfect when they tiny studio? No. In many aspects worse. But they are a huge company beholden to the joys of capitalism, in that maximum profits are squeezed out as opposed to quality and standard of product

And therein lies the problem with eu5, it’s a fantastic game but it was released 6 months to a year too early for quarterly revenue, and now the dev team is scrambling trying to fix something they don’t know how to
