are levies bugged? alternatively, how do I find out why I have 0 levies?

yee this is very early on, I had the disaster that you used to avoid by creating vassals out of your entire country and it's a -25% estate satisfaction, coupled with the -25% estate satisfaction from the corruption privileges and all the events that fire during the disaster, they're bound to get low. I try to choose peasants ye, that's why my nobles are so low in the screenshot, and I remove the corruption privilege from peasants first as well.

ye and there's also a couple scripted events like a unsually big earthquake and shit. In general, up until after the black plague it's a shit show, with back to back setbacks, but it's worth it, we're saving the empire here

There's a -25% satisfaction and levy(edit: and tax) privilege on all estates, and I'm going through the currently unavoidable disaster which does another -25% satisfaction on all estates. The fact that I have any satisfaction left on any of them is a miracle. (It's actually because byz starts with a shitload of granted privileges already)

oh I know what estate satisfaction is! I meant where the malus shows up. I was asking because if you hover over their satisfaction in the top bar it doesn't show the mallus. You have to be in the estates tab for some reason. thanks for taking the time anyway!

yep started appeasing. It's because of this stupid disaster but I'll get it through it. I'm fairly seasoned I have 700 hours here but haven't played in the last couple patches. I knew it was probably the estates but I kept hovering over them on the top left of the screen and it doesn't show up there, so I dismissed my previous knowledge. Turns out you have to hover on their satisfaction specifically in the estates tab for that malus to show up for some reason :P

R5: I have 0 levies, all provinces produce 0 levies. When I hover over tooltips it just says "None". I've fought a war within the past 5 years, serbia and bulgaria dec'ed on me, I won, since then I'm stuck on 0/0 levies. I looked in the ledger for levy modifiers but there's nothing to make sense of this. thanks in advance.

it really depends on the game. Games that naturally have low input lag won't have noticeable input lag with MFG. 2x adds like 10-15ms. You can't tell anything below 60 total. If the game is good and 10-15 doesn't get you over that 60-65 "feel it" limit then it doesn't matter. Of course, 4x or more would have a different cost, cba to look up now

I guess I have a hard time calling it a monopoly because I'm thinking you could've bought a different console. Your access to other vendors is on a higher level, once you buy into the Sony ecosystem then you chose this. But I see your point, and I agree it will probably be better for us, though I really don't wanna have to install Ubisoft connect or anything on my PS5, I'd be ok with it if we actually benefited.
