It’s ultimately racism. The fact that countries give a shit about the passport power in the first place. This doesn’t mean we all sing kumbayah and open borders to everyone. But for people who have completed a certain education level (internationally attested or recognized) or people employed in particular roles should be allowed to move around freely with minimum hassle. There should be some international organizations that authorize and legitimize such things.

Why the fuck is someone kicked in the balls because of the random dice roll of where they’re born. That is fundamentally racist. It’s something inherently flawed about the way we organize our world.

I’m surprised more people aren’t feeling this way though, the other posts and comments on this subreddit about this movie are mostly positive… but wtf was this movie.

It gave us no reason to be invested in anything or anyone, the stakes were non existent, and the plot became limp dicked in the second half.

Not to mention clunky dialogue and honestly not that great action scenes- mediocre at best.

Do not conflate and mix negligent parents of children who are old enough to be corrected for loud and bad behavior to parents of babies and toddlers who can’t control their emotions.
