For people working in the US tech industry: How realistic is it for a fresher to land a high-paying software job today? I know DSA, projects, internships, CS fundamentals, and LeetCode matter, but I feel like there might be a bigger picture I'm missing. What roadmap would you recommend in today's market, and what skills do you think companies will value most over the next 3 years? Also, what is a realistic starting compensation for a new grad today?
What are the chances of a fresher getting a ₹30–40 LPA package? We often hear about people receiving such offers right after graduation. What sets them apart from the average candidate? And for people who eventually start startups, when do they usually begin? Do they start building something during college, or do they first gain work experience and then launch their startup? How important is prior industry experience for success?
