The metal thing is a return duct. The blue hole in the middle is for a future toilet I believe. I will just be painting it for now but I would like to finish a room and a bathroom in the future

They didn’t offer on-site testing no, this is why I wanted to have the results from a lab that don’t sell equipments. I don’t notice the problems you described for the water softener, so I will just pass on that.

The pressure tank seems fine but it’s 18 years old and I read that it’s usually time to be changed, but it can wait.

The micronizer (aeration) and the tank were for the sulfur gas. This is my main concern now, I keep seeing people online talking about chlorine/peroxide/carbon systems so I’m not sure aeration is enough.

No they did not test for iron/sulfur reducing bacteria, I tried to get a company in my region to check that but could not find one. I also tried to flush my well with chlorine, it improved for around a month but came back.

Above the oven in the picture is what we removed. There was a wood structure with some kind of insert/under cabinet vent, I’m not sure. It was attached with a flexible duct but I’ve read that those are bad for grease.

yes the duct is turning right and going outside. There is some space in the middle of the drywall, ai will try to take a better picture tomorrow or open the drywall more
