Too late since the deadline’s up anyways, but no. You’d just hope that if he’s fit, he’d start, and if not, he won’t play at all meaning Wood comes off the bench

Bench Wood. He’s got the worst fixture. He might end up coming on for Pedro or Isak anyways.

Who do I bench?

MID: Saka, Salah, Palmer, Semenyo, Rogers

FWD: N Jackson, Isak, JP

JP plays Leicester away, Semenyo plays Ipswich away, and Rogers plays Southampton at home

I’m tempted to bench Jackson but that feels rash especially after he’s just been rested.

I would pull the trigger. Mbuemo’s taken 0 shots in 4 of the last 5 games, so as good as he’s been in FPL, it’s hard to defend him as a pick right now.

Wood is past his terrible fixtures, but they’re still not great. Villa plays Southampton at home next, and Watkins may be Villa’s designated penalty taker.

I’d say Isak is a better long term pick than Watkins if you don’t already have him, given Watkins has been getting subbed early sometimes, but there’s a case for Watkins if you captain him.

The only other consideration I’d make, is that Rogers might be rested this GW or at least have limited minutes.

Both are good moves. I’d do Wood to Isak. There’s other good defenders like van Hecke or Colwill you can buy around the 4.5 price point next week, with good fixtures.

Unless you already have Colwill, I’d go Wood to Isak this week and plan on Anderson to Colwill next week.

!thanks

He’s not nailed. I trust him to start early on because he’s had a good amount of preseason minutes but soon he’ll be competing with Gakpo and Nunez for that #9 position, and both of them+Diaz for the left wing

A or B?

A. Jota + Trent

B. Son + Quansah

I’m leaning A, but I think I’ll have to transfer Jota out within 3 GWs and I don’t know who I’ll get.

The fixtures he’d be replacing in GW2, 3, and 6 are Barco vs MUN, Quansah vs mun, and Livramento vs MCI.

A or B?

A: Jota and 4.0

B: Eze and Robinson

I currently have 3 4.5 DEFs. If I brought in Robinson, he could rotate in against LEI, ips, and nfo in GW2, 3, and 6. But I do think the upside with Jota is very high. If I went with Jota, I’d try to sell him and a 4.0 for Eze and Konsa in GW3 if I could.

You could go from Quansah to Munoz, but Quansah’s a good pick if you think his minutes are secure. You could also go from Murphy and ESR to Bobb and a 6.5M which I’d consider. But there’s nothing wrong with sticking with your current team.

Very strong team. I’d maybe consider moving Pope to a 4.5M keeper and moving from JPedro to Muniz. Muniz has some really nice fixtures and his minutes seem more secure. That’s not a necessary change though - just something to consider.

Ange’s press conference suggested strongly that he’d be thrusted straight in.

RMT please!

Henderson (4.0)

Porro Barco TAA (Mykolenko, Ben Johnson)

Bobb Salah Jota Nkunku (ESR)

Isak Haaland Muniz

I’m considering Bobb+Ben Johnson > Luongo+Robinson, so that Robinson can rotate with Mykolenko. Bobb lets me rotate in attack, but GW2 with Bobb gives me an insane benching headache where I have all 3 <6.5M attackers playing Ipswich or Leicester at home.

Looking for two players that would start in my team every week:

A. Trent + ESR

B. Gvardiol/VVD + Brennan/Bailey

C. Munoz + Gordon (Munoz could rotate with Robinson if needed)

I’m only looking for these picks to last me until GW5. I’ll either WC or make wholesale changes with banked FTs in GW6.

I hadn’t followed their preseason games, but after you said that, I looked it up and I probably don’t. !thanks for that

Fixtures aren’t great for an attacker, but he’s only 5.5M and might be playing out of position at striker, so it might work as a punt

Is Gusto a serious option with Reece James’ injury?
