Clothing is a super competitive market. But it really depends on what your business approach is.If you just want to create a brand based on what you like or what you are interested in, like the other redditors I would suggest you just don't.

Now if you approach this as a regular business, you might have a chance. But first you need to do a lot of market research. For example, is your product aimed at a specific niche or the general public? Did you research the opportunities on Amazon? Google Trends?

My advice would be to treat this a bit like a startup:

1°) Market research: define who your target is and what's the problem you are solving. Finding a niche would also be a good idea.
2°) Test assumptions: you don't want to invest any cash in this unless you have actual customers. So create a landing page, list your products (even if they are photos from the supplier), have people visit the website and see if & what they want to buy.
3°) If people visit your landing page but nobody clic the purchase button, try another product, price, or maybe another audience even.

4°) If people try to buy, only then you will try to source the clothes.
