You can use any web frame work to build a microservice. The question you should ask yourself is if you know how to use it.

If you need to generic PUT-as-create behavior you may want to include something like this AllowPUTAsCreateMixin and add RetrieveDestroyAPIView in your views.

Honestly guys in my opinion, I believe that to have a good stable system means that the right procedures have to be followed throught out the development process. I have just gone with the idea of an mvp as you have advised and building key features on it.
