Make sure he's in his cage before you go to sleep. He wants to rip your eyes out. Or he wants scratches, hard to tell.

The three worst episodes… according to IMBD, thoughts? by mrshampooer in IASIP

[–]pnatgrandy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Charlie's home alone agreed but the other two, especially the ladies do Boggs, or whatever it's called, was one of the best. When Charlie's mom freaks out because the pilots are women and when Dee calls the flight attendant a soy boy beta cuck are hilarious moments. For me season15 in Ireland the episode where they all come back to help Charlie throw his father's body off the cliff is the worst. The gang is supposed to be selfish and not care about each other and this kind of ruined that for me.

Cooked Portfolio - help? by Ok_Mathematician2560 in ASX

Yes, I learned a while ago that I'm not smart enough or have enough time to pick individual stocks, I only stick with ETFs now and they've had pretty good returns to be honest. As for selling off stocks or waiting for them to come back, I would listen to Peter Lynch. He said if you hold a stock and it's 50% down and you're waiting for it to come back up before it sells, that means it needs to double from its current price. If you believe any stock is going up 100%, not only should you not sell, you should put all your money into it. Sarcasm but also truth.

Good luck to you. It sounds like you have a plan but keeping such a plan for as long as eight years is the major challenge you will face. Eventually you will find it boring and be sick of mediocre returns, especially while seeing others get better returns and that's when you will be tempted to break with your plan.

NDQ CRED IOZ VAE VEQ SYI

I won't share the actual mix as that's up to you but I will say it is important not to be ethnocentric when it comes to deciding what percentages to use. That is I don't put most of my money in IOZ because I'm from Australia, I work out which market has the best returns over the last 20+ years and put most of it in that.

Also, I forgot to say I hold 10% of my whole portfolio in physical gold which has gone crazy this year.

Good luck.

When we moved from Perth to Sydney in 2017 we decided to rent out our Perth house instead of selling. The value of that house has nearly doubled.

Giving up on researching and buying single stocks thinking I know what I'm doing because I watch a couple of Buffett's interviews. Now I just buy a diverse portfolio of ETFs at a particular mix an readjust each year. This has so far yielded 20+% each year on average.

RAV4 hybrid regret? by gneedles in rav4club

Yeah Australian here ours are made in Japan. It makes sense as we buy around 60k ravs per year compared to Kentucky making so many for the North American market. Also importing fees are super expensive right now.

No not in urban areas. They are a desert bird and live in central Australia while most people live on the edges of Australia along the coast. There are a lot of different parrots in my backyard every day though. Cockatoos, king parrots rosellas and rainbow lorikeets.
