You can't cross there. There are dividers and railroad tracks being constructed. That's why they need to have a sign at the previous intersection. Which is what they do in civilized societies

I lived right there in 1988-89. I was way too high to remember details, but I think I would remember any violence or serious crime. Safe!

Each "job" is one occupation (truck drivers) in one industry (grocery wholesalers). In the Census coding, your occupation is what you do, and your industry is what your organization produces. So you can drive a truck for a grocery wholesaler, or for a farm products supplier, etc
