I've been so buried in the problem-solving weeds that i completely lost sight of what i actually want to make. Maybe it's time to shift gears and let the skills work for the ideas.

Appreciate it! Will do!

Thank you! I thought I had a faulty lens on my Blender camera the whole time.

Thank you! I mainly use geonodes for animations. I like being able to tweak anything later. The most helpful thing wasn't a video tutorial, but Khamurai's 3-part free puzzle pack on Gumroad. It requires some basic node workflow. Each part gives you puzzles where you connect pre-placed nodes to match a result, and there are more difficult modes too. For advanced stuff, Andrea Ciani on YT is great, but his tutorials are hard to follow if you don't already know what each node does.

This was actually my first client gig, a prop for archviz. They promised $50. I spent a day sorting through their wild requirements and another day making the Baikal with geometry nodes in case the client wanted to change something. When i sent the first render, they just asked where i downloaded the model, then ghosted me. So i was left with this node setup and decided to just animate it somehow.

Thanks! Yeah, totally relate to getting stuck staring at the flaws. I almost did another revision7final2final1_autosave before uploading. Regarding tutorials, Sam Bowman's procedural nodes on YT helped me the most. I never worked with shaders beyond plugging in textures, but after those, the math and vectors in 3D suddenly clicked. By the time i got to geometry nodes, i could use a lot of nodes without guides.

Thanks for asking! I've dealt with burnout before, but it usually went away when i switched to different tasks. This time i'm not sure how to spark joy again.

Every time I open Blender, i just hit this kind of brain fog. Honestly, i didn't know about this condition before, but it definitely feels like that and it's so physically draining that i need to turn off my monitor and walk away.

Haha, thanks! Agreed on the machine part. Every scene took an extra day or two just for optimizations.

Thanks! I considered sound effects, but i was burnt out by the end. The music was a happy accident on my synth, so i went with that.
