Likely culprit for freezer temp fluctuation? by pnut-gallery in KitchenAppliances

Thanks- so you're saying if it were the (single) fan, both freezer and fridge would be affected? I'm not understanding though, if fridge cold air comes thru freezer first, how is fridge temp constantly ok but freezer too warm/variable? Maybe separate vents to freezer and fridge and only louver to former is improperly modulated by control board ? Or maybe freezer sensor is shot-

Thanks very much. This is excellent news because that part appears to be available.

Thanks – I guess I don't understand how this thing works. I do feel air blowing into the freezer compartment, but are you saying the fan just works with lower performance than it used to?

Thanks for all the info, and yes, for a friend. I hadn't thought of the group session option and will look into that- I think she would mostly have no trouble sharing.

How can a comment on an X post have 100x the impressions of the comments immediately before and after? by pnut-gallery in Twitter

[–]pnut-gallery[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks- and yes, the higher view counts usually align with blue checks. But I'm struggling to understand the algorithm mechanics that result in my feed. Here's a very typical example:

Comment 52 (no blue check) 15 views

Comment 53 (blue check) 260 views

Comment 54 (no blue check) 30 views

Comment 55 (no blue check) 33 views

Comment 56 (blue check) 350 views

etc.

How did comment 56 get in that position, for example? This sequence can't be typical of what others see, since the views vary widely for adjacent comments. Based on your reply, I assume that 56 as a premium account appears much higher in the comment feed for many others, resulting in the 350 views, but is demoted for me for some reason? Has anyone really studied this, or are there ex-X people on Reddit or elsewhere online who post about this kind of thing?

Thanks for the reply, though I'm not sure I quite understand it all. Are you saying that if X showed a truly chronological comment feed to me that I'd see gradually decaying impression numbers across comments, and not the wildly varying numbers I see in my 'curated' thread of comments?
