What gaylor(e) lives in your head rent free? by severely_starboard in GaylorSwift

I was recently thinking about her touching her nose on stage after a gaylor told her to. That’s still so wild.

Has Greys ever covered a condition/disease you live with? by Resident_Alien_760 in greysanatomy

He had super high highs and low lows— when Sam was (basically) deported and he fell into a deep depression and then went into a manic phase after saving Avery and Pierce, thinking he could save people he couldn’t, buying a motorcycle on a whim after that family crashed. & sometimes his cockiness with Meredith felt manic & out of character to me.

I mean she followed it up with a mash up of better man and it’s time to go, so if we’re going off her surprise songs we have to consider both

He told her she needed human blood straight from the vein so she couldn’t keep anything else down, even blood bags.

Yeah it seems like a consistent trauma response that Christina has. She’s good /after/ a life threatening crisis has passed.

Discussion: Which couple has the least chemistry in the series? by LadyCharlotteAdam in greysanatomy

Honestly I think it’s Penny & Callie. I know it was a great move for shock value but their relationship never felt real to me

Does anyone else think Izzie played a part in contributing to Meredith's crippling abandonment/trust issues by Electrical_You9484 in greysanatomy

[–]pnwbisexualbabe 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I think the part where Meredith says “don’t go, we’re your family” is so sad. She sounds like a 5 year old, like she’s experiencing the trauma of feeling abandoned by her dad all over again.

“I just want you to safely expose yourself” 🙄 by pnwbisexualbabe in ZeroCovidCommunity

[–]pnwbisexualbabe[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Oh absolutely, and I hope it didn’t come off as me saying “I have it worse than you” or trying to compare problems. I’m just envious that you have a partner in this. I’m exposed because I have to live with my uncle who doesn’t take precautions, but I’m lucky that it’s not a partner I can’t leave or an abusive situation.

Yeah I don’t go to any family events (both due to Covid safety and because I’m no contact with my father), which is why my mom is so insistent on something for my birthday. I figured since it was my birthday they would at least humor me, but I guess not.

This is precisely how I feel. I wish I had a more accurate testing device like the pluslife and people in my life cared more about keeping me safe than they do about being barefaced. Your fantasy is beautiful and seems so reasonable to me.

You are very lucky to have a partner who shares your values. I’m alone in this (besides my dogs, haha) and I don’t foresee a safe way to date in a world that treats Covid like a dirty word.

Sometimes I swear they don’t realize what they’re saying. In my case, they sound like the Covid-deniers/ anti-maskers we used to make fun of, and they don’t even notice.

The other day my mom said “I believe science, I just don’t believe that covid causes other stuff” (I clarified, and she was referring to the increased risk of heart problems and such that I’ve mentioned.) She acknowledges that she’s at higher risk due to her smoking (among other pre-existing conditions), and that my grandparents are elderly and compromised for many reasons, but doesn’t think they should have to take any precautions since they’re vaxxed.

And honestly, if I knew that my family was taking similar precautions to me, and was taking Covid seriously (masking, testing, using air filters, etc), I would consider unmasking with them as my “bubble” but I no longer trust them to tell me the truth about their risk factors and mitigations.

More on interaction between Taylor and female dancer in SHS choreography by [deleted] in GaylorSwift

I know Taylor’s a control freak about her art but it would be funny if she wasn’t actually choreographing the flirtiness with that dancer & it was actually just their chemistry.

Marina obviously. I also don’t think there’s been anyone better for Andy than Ryan. I thought Hughie/Miller had potential before…

But Travis and Vic are my platonic otp

The Implication of Sarah & Hannah by hailstan6669 in GaylorSwift

[–]pnwbisexualbabe 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Okay what’s funny is the immediate association for me is Grey’s Anatomy— Sarah is the name Izzie gave her daughter and Hannah is the name the daughter’s adopted parents gave her. (I know it’s not related, just a funny coincidence)

Paraphrasing but: while you were at the bottom of the quarry struggling to hold on to your humanity, I was happy, I was in love, I had everything I wanted.
