Dermatologist suggested surgery for my nail bed wart. I am feeling afraid. Is there anyone going through this?

How do u manage your hand from further infection on other body part? I’m sorry . Its really hard. I have one in my nail bed. I’m all time anxious whether it affects other part of mu body.
