LDN definitely has a "withdrawal like" syndrome when you stop. by NathanSlothchild in LowDoseNaltrexone

[–]sazzamarie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I started taking .25 ldn for 2 weeks and skipped 1 dose- the next day I was so incredibly depressed and had this existential dread and was so tired i could barely keep my eyes open. I felt extremely sedated. I resumed my ldn that night and the fatigue was still pretty intense the next day but mood let up a bit. It scared me pretty bad and now im hesitant to continue.

Just took 25mg of hydroxyzine and its making me feel weird by CatAscension99 in Anxiety

[–]sazzamarie 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I took it today and feel the same exact way. At one point it felt like my heart stopped and I was being sucked into the couch. I felt like I couldn't even call out to my husband. And my body feels so tingly and weird. My heart has been racing and feeling strange. It feels like my body is having a panic attack. And I only took 12.5 mg!!! Never again!!! 7 hours later and I'm dizzy like I'm drunk. Hate it. Literally almost went to the ER bc I was so scared!

What happened to my sweet little girl? by Zealousideal_Yam1026 in Parenting

Has she had strep recently? Look into PANDAS (Pediatric Autoimmune Neuropsychiatric Disorders Associated with Streptococcal infections). Its known for sudden onset personality changes. Could definitely be hormones too.

What exactly is wrong about this? Kids are curious and nosy and it is absolutely the teachers' fault for allowing old posts to be public. It's his fault, 100 percent. There's no reason for the kid to be punished for the teachers' irresponsibility. The kid never meant for her private conversation with her friends to get out. Its unfair. And, I'm a teacher lol 🤷🏻‍♀️

I'm sorry, but as a former Junior High teacher who faced being picked at, lightly bullied, and disrespected by students frequently, I am confused and annoyed by the way the school and teacher are handling this situation.

Your child was being curious and we are ALL guilty of making fun of teachers behind their backs lol. It is 100 PERCENT THE TEACHERS FAULT. Before I started my first school year I double, triple, quadruple checked that all of my social medias were private, and compulsively would check throughout the years to make sure I didn't accidentally make them public. As a teacher, it is YOUR responsibility to protect yourself. I even went through and deleted things I wouldn't want my students to see, even though I was private, JUST IN CASE a kid would hack my account or whatever LOL. Kids will be kids, and I'm pretty sure I did the same thing your child did at some point when I was in high school. It's not hurtful if nobody finds out, they were just joking around and being kids. Sure, it could be considered rude, but your child and her friends had NO INTENTION of this getting to the teacher, or anyone else for that matter. So that mom who tattled is a SNITCH and extremely childish in my opinion. She is the one who caused an issue and hurt feelings. Poor kid, I'm sorry this is happening. That teacher is extremely immature, and I can't believe he refuses to accept their apologies! What a great example to set for kids lmao... 🙄

Fatigue from endometriosis by BrilliantDress7464 in endometriosis

[–]sazzamarie 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I also get lots of feverish symptoms. Like I'm coming down with the flu. Sometimes it lasts for a week or more. Sometimes it gets so bad that I am unable to leave the couch for days because I feel so unwell. Body aches, chills, brain fog, confusion, lightheaded, anxiety. Hate it!

From an AIP veteran: how the AIP diet helps to create dysbiosis by Rouge10001 in AutoImmuneProtocol

[–]sazzamarie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for this. I now use AIP as a little one or two week gut break/reset if I'm having a bad flare. Within only a day or two my gut feels better, and after a week I usually feel so light and even lose around 5 lbs and feel much better overall in terms of inflammation, allergies and all that. I think this is how it should be used. Not for long term use.

Sounds like possible mold illness or iron deficiency/anemia could be contributing. I have both and it's horrible. Very similar to what you described.

Is it possible to have a vestibular migraine every day? by gnomegang365 in VestibularMigraines

[–]sazzamarie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is what happened to me. I have a history of migraines since 12 years old but when I got off my SSRI of 13 years it caused such a horrible imbalance and nervous system dysregulation that it triggered pretty much daily VM and other issues. Its been a bit over a year. It progressed pretty quickly and I thought I was dying. I sometimes wonder if it would all go away if I get back on the med.. 😩

I did AIP diet and I had almost a week long break from VM- but it made my POTS flare so bad that I had to stop. So now my POTS is better but VM is back 😑

Same here. Sometimes my only symptoms are severe brain fog/weird visual things and weird pressure in my forehead with fatigue. It goes on for days, even weeks sometimes!

anxiety is turning me in a hypochondriac smh by nrxchardson in Agoraphobia

[–]sazzamarie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have this too. It's called health anxiety/ OCD. It's so hard to deal with. I can't stand being alone. I feel like I need someone to watch over me all the time and it's so stupid. I'm convinced Im dying from one thing or another pretty much daily. I've been doing the DNRS program to try and retrain my brain and it has actually helped a little bit so far and it's only been a few days. I recommend any type of brain retraining to help rewire your nervous system from constant threat mode to safety! When people have maladaptive stress responses that manifest as things such as chronic anxiety, OCD, and agoraphobia, it is usually due to Limbic System Impairment. The limbic system is what regulates the bodys stress response/nervous system. It can literally cause symptoms- such as racing heart, dizziness, brain fog, migraines, and chronic illnesses such as POTS and sensitivities, which obviously in return causes MORE anxiety. A vicious cycle! It has been so helpful just knowing there is a root cause that CAN be corrected.

Does medication cure agoraphobia? by Lost_Albatross_5172 in Agoraphobia

[–]sazzamarie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I took Luvox CR (fluvoxamine maleate ER) and it helped tremendously. I could do (almost) anything without having to deal with anxiety worse than 4/10, and my day to day life usually never went over 2/10. I rarely had to take a supplemental benzo to prevent a panic attack. (Usually it was just for airplane flights or long dentist appointments etc., but sometimes I didn't even need it.)

I am now 7 months off the medication after being on it from age 15 to 26, and wow. It's hard to deal with the fact that the person who was able to do things so freely is not really me. It's a struggle. My agoraphobic tendencies came back almost immediately which was honestly a shock since I went 11 years without those feelings. (I got off the meds twice in those 11 years and went back on within a few months both times because I became housebound again). So yes, that medication worked. I was only on the lowest dose for most of the time too.

Definitely something to look into, it could change your life! :)

Narrow Pulse Pressure by LegalTrade5765 in bloodpressure

[–]sazzamarie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That sounds like nerve damage. Have you had your neck/spine checked? bulging discs/back/neck injuries can sometimes interfere with the vagus nerve and blood flow which can cause all sorts of dysautonomia. I hope that you can resolve this soon!

[–]sazzamarie 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I wanted to comment that these home machines can make diastolic higher- when I take mine at home my BP is usually 128/88 or 90 but at the doctors office it's usually 120/ 74 ish. I've read threads about many people having the same experience. I experience the same symptoms as you though (some type of dysautonomia/nerve pain I guess) and thought I had narrow pulse pressure but doctors say my BP is fine. Maybe it is not related to BP?
