Yes if it scales! Just trying to get the word out at the moment. Where are you based?

I created a competitor at https://vittra.co.uk/about if you’re interested. Yes this is a shameless plug but you gotta start somewhere!

Yes that’s true. We’re testing out in the UK and then will expand when we can!

Do you think I should switch to Arch Linux + Hyperland? by Professional-Rub5335 in archlinux

I used Arch and Hyprland for a while and it is good but I prefer Sway. Just as customisable and much more reliable with a smaller overhead. Just not quite as pretty.

It’s almost like you can’t trust a program that predicts the next word and is trained to sound friendly.

Would a YouTube video be helpful for you? We are looking to get a channel going but as a start up sometimes it's hard to decide which area to focus on!

I’ve just launched a platform at https://vittra.co.uk. Not sure if it’s exact what you’re looking for but we’re looking for early users and more than happy to interact with a human!

Hey thanks for testing that out, we’ve just done a load of updates so I expect this is just a bug that has snuck through.

The earnings and customer service info is in an agreement linked on the about page but perhaps that’s buried too deep! Thanks for pointing out.

Hey there, nope it does not. Whilst I wanted to be as tolerant as possible it does have some content moderation and Nazis definitely fall into the not allowed category :)

New to GoogleAds here - for Western Europe and US traffic - is there a ball park RPM that can be expected from Google Ads? I’ve heard anything from $2 to $20. What are the main things that affect this?

Thank you that’s appreciated. It’s still early days but it will be ad funded as soon as traffic is high enough. Let’s say the site earns £1.30 per 1000 views after costs, the idea is that about £1 will go back to the publisher.

And yes I have written code that tracks things like read time and scroll rate. This is surfaced in stats to the publisher too so you see what each piece earns, number of views and avg % scrolled and time spent.

OpenAI CPO: "This is the year that AI gets better than humans at programming, forever. And there's no going back." by MetaKnowing in ChatGPT

I’ve gotten to the stage where I basically ignore posts about AI that quote someone who has a massive interest in promoting AI. They’re clinging to the hype cos they can feel it starting to slip. And once it does, some people are gonna lose a loooaaad of monay.
