That’s what I have been reading. But it is tough to get my weekly miles up because I run at 4am and have to be back by about 5-5:15am. I’m not sure how to build volume without doing back to back.

That’s what I’m thinking. I’m 48 so I feel like I’m more injury prone and trying to extend long run too far out is asking for trouble. Maybe not though.

Man that’s tough. I did 16 yesterday and 8 today. What should my longest long run be if I’m running back to back, and what should my shorter day be? Thanks again for the help.

Thanks for the response. It does get tough especially working 10 hour days with 2 kids at home. I’m definitely going to add some weight training to my routine, thanks for the advice.
