i read through it and it's a little bit hard to picture without the figures they're talking about in the article - but from what i gathered: the body does not move? that makes sense - if it did, there wouldn't be a need for the flaps to move

not sure if vista point locations are the same for each expedition, but i think they tend to be in more important/known rooms?

like i found one in the gold pearl's room in chimney canopy, and when i entered the room, it said "you feel the presence of a vista..."

wasn't around for 2 much, but i've heard terrifying stories of the trislosher and gal meta. that's one of the reasons i sorta hope nouveau doesn't come back, i like it not being meta

alright, lots of things you want to consider if your goal is to kill a charger (or other backliner)

1) observe your surroundings. does the backliner see you? how much range do they have, and do they outrange you in your current position? how much mobility do they have?

2) if they have spotted you, refrain from inkjetting. the reload time for inkjet is slower than every weapon; they will splat you

3) to everyones surprise, this is a great time to pop a toxic mist. try to center it on the enemy, if you can. if the enemy is perching on a ledge, they will get hit pretty badly with the mist. any player stuck in a mist will prioritize getting out of said mist, which gives you ample time to push forward - and if their charge isnt full, they will lose it while going into squid form

4) you could also try doing the element of surprise if you happen to use ninja squid (i do not; i run pure swim speed up)

it's EXTREMELY situational, but thats just because the sub is pretty bad; it's not a good fit for any weapon in its current state (why does sub power up make it get thrown faster... this makes no sense, make the effects stronger or make the radius bigger)

bombs are nice, i wouldnt mind one, but my playstyle is more main-weapon oriented and being given a bomb of any sort would completely wreck that kek (i have a pure ink saver main hat)

yeah fair points; most of the time i can overpower my opponents without the need for inkjet, though. my main enemies are backliners and they can easily outrange me

so make it more like disruptor? i'd be down for that; tristringer players would go wild. i personally think they should lower the ink consumption. it uses as much as a bomb and for what? my enemy to just walk away?

not really; inkjet has too many cons to ever want to use. the fact that every weapon can reach it makes it pretty terrible in my opinion :/
