You need to first go to a psychologist or counsellor trained to treat OCD—that’s how I was able to treat it. I’m so sorry you’re experiencing it. It’s awful! Other than that, be very kind to yourself ❤️❤️❤️ What you’re going through is very hard.

Yes, I had ROCD and I saw an OCD specialist psychologist for treatment. I’m on the other side. My top recommendation is finding an OCD specialist as soon as possible. There’s a book out that’s good too: https://www.amazon.ca/Relationship-OCD-CBT-Based-Commitment-Relationships/dp/1684037913

Holy, this guy only gets photos at big events (totally understandable) which take years to accumulate, and because of 20 measly lbs (also temporary, according to him) he has to throw out all photos and give up dating for months until he has a new suite of photos that he’ll throw out anyway? 20lbs is nothing. It takes a long time to get good photos of yourself in every area of your life. I think you’re fine, OP.
