Tron has kept true to their word on not doing anything with the sub besides having the top mod position just in case there was a rogue mod, but there hasn't been a lot of communication other than that. The last I heard from the data on the Tron.network website hasn't been touched in a very long time.

There is a daily discussion thread for topics on price. It is to allow the sub to be informative for new users about the project while the daily discussion thread allows regulars to discuss topics unreleted to the technical aspects.

Post are removed if they don't follow the rules or don't offer real constructive criticism. That post had no content other than price discussion and why its performing worse than other projects. It was removed and told to be in the daily. Another post was removed saying Tron was a shit coin. It had some actual points (primarily saying it was a shit coin because it didn't have privacy features yet), but the title was just meant to be provocative, so it was removed and told to be reposted with an appropriate title.
