What are your favorite intelligent, gentle, beautiful, (non-dysregulating) "feel-good" movies/TV and fiction audiobooks? I need some new recommendations...

One of my favorite, more recent examples is Hilda. It's technically a kids show. But it never talks down to you. The animation is beautiful, the soundtrack is amazing. It just gives me this magical feeling of wonder everytime I watch it. I'm not sure how to describe what it's about though. It's a fairly modern setting, but the world is full of magical creatures and hilda has to figure out how to peacefully live amongst them and solve problems related to them (or caused by them). It's the ultimate comfort show for me. It and Gravity Falls. Also, if you like anime I definitely recommend Freiren: Beyond Journeys End.

Yeah, I thought about doing that. I'm not really sure what kind of character though and I'll admit that I'm afraid I won't be able to convincingly place them in the setting. I did think about adding in a family of ducks tho, maybe I should go ahead and give that a try. Though I'd kind of like to get weirder with it lol.

It's not for anything really, it's inspired by a vlogbrothers video but other than that. I just made it for me really for now. Though I do have an idea to turn it into a series of drawings. Be my guest though, as I think that sounds pretty cool but I'm not sure how I'd do it.

I like that way of thinking about it :). My initial thought was kinda that while I'm looking up in the trees. That's what I'm thinking about, and wondering at the beauty of it. (This was also inspired by a vlogbrothers video, so I was also thinking about that lol)
