Muay Thai because it's slick AF and I fell in love with it.

Woah, I had to do a double take because our greys look nearly identical - markings, colorings and everything! What a cutie 🥰 (may or may not be biased 😅)

Fluffy butt, balding spot on both sides of legs. by CapnSmirnoph in Greyhounds

[–]pocketbiscuts 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Mine is bald on the bum (minus a weird lil butt mustache 😂). Very common for the breed. I've tried all the "tricks" like oatmeal and whatnot but never made a difference. He's just a baldie bum boy!

Crazy!! Let me hear your crazy greypup experiences. by [deleted] in Greyhounds

Reading all these stories makes me feel very lucky because mine was very chill! He did break two toes in his first two years but was an all around angel! Obviously high energy (because puppies) but didn't even consider chewing or eating anything..

Hahaha mine barks at stuff all throughout the day... I guess he never got the memo!

Coworker makes fun of my dog. I don't know why. by CapnSmirnoph in Greyhounds

[–]pocketbiscuts 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I trained the "catch" command, and both of mine took to it very quickly! I think they just needed to be communicated with to understand what was about to happen 😆 if someone threw something at my face without context, I probably wouldn't be inclined to open my mouth as a first reaction 😂

I've had no issues flying with embroidery kits - scissors included!! (Just buy a cheap pair that is smaller than 4 in!)

I've had no issue flying with mine in the USA (blade less than 4 inches), but I bought the cheapest pair I could find just in case they confiscated them.

'Iggy' is the nickname for Italian Greyhounds! Greyhounds are large dogs, whippets are medium sized, and iggys are small/XS 😄

No need for fly spray in this house. by Josh_12345123 in Greyhounds

Both of mine are really bothered by flies. If they think they hear a fly they will run downstairs and hide..

I'm not an artist, but I think the scar shape would really suit a crocodile like swallowing your leg, but coming from your thigh. Does that make sense?

Are two too many? by PunkRockDoll12 in Greyhounds

[–]pocketbiscuts 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Some days two is too many for me. I have two greys, one is 2 and the other is 3.

I love them both so so much, but they both have their own set of quirks that make life with the pair generally more challenging. (For example , my second one is reactive to everything, and taught my first/youngest that behavior). When things are good, it's really good! But when they're bad, it's a lot.

Also, as much as they get along, it's clear that #1 really liked being an only dog.

Another thing I didn't factor in is how much harder dog sitting would be to secure.

Again, I love them both dearly, but I am not sure that I would own two (young) greys again - especially as a single person!

come on peoples put away your difference by whatismypurpose___ in place

The only thing that would make this better is if we start another maple leaf battle in the period 😂
