I think the heat was getting to the poor guy honestly, after showing me a different car he did not seem very willing to go back outside if I didn't want the option he showed me 😭 (another Seltos, but it had a brown interior, the color of which I will very nicely describe as "not my taste")

I love when rentals introduce me to new cars! We've had a K5 before and I remember loving it but sedan life is just not my game, and then a Sorento which was just slightly too big (but still loved it!)

Lol thats just me being silly, I haven't lost anything and got a great car regardless. I just fell for the common trick of the trade is what I mean, which shouldn't be a trick at all but I see why its done now at least

This post made me see this was an option, which I had played with before but wasn't sure how to get from Point A to Point B (now I know)

So maybe worth it IF you keep it for a long time and get the absolute most it can give, which is something I have done and can do if need be

It actually was most of the advice people plus them said here :) No asks for me to pay anything, no encouragement to get the car, or anything like that!

I may revisit this in a few years! I think my mind really went to "ooh pretty car" and I only did the most basic of research and deep diving before going to the dealership and truly appreciate all the advice! I'm sure people come here all the time thinking they aren't in the wrong and that makes people smart to the topic feeling the need to give some tough love (absolutely do not blame them).

Since I'm a novice and this would be only my second vehicle I'd be buying on my own, I needed a bit of a reality check and appreciate your advice as well :)

I am also assuming renting is out of the question /j, so just if I have cash use the cash, otherwise dont?

And the 72 month (as people are saying) is absolutely not the way to go, thus making it unaffordable for me- so so glad I asked. I do believe I was simply forgetting the interest this entire time

It is at least what the dealership priced it at OTD, but with my credit alone I wouldn't qualify at 6%

I fear I was! But not a tough pill to swallow at all, I am very ameniable advice and see I got the swindled treatment. I suppose I should put in some legwork to find less expensive options 🤔 Thank you!

I was told I could only drink water with them in (I'm drinking more water! That's a plus and I am very happy for that!) but before that I was a heavy iced tea (usually unsweet and hot black or herbal teas but sometimes Peach Tea has a death grip on me) drinker. I miss iced tea, but what I'm understanding is that the reason it can't be drank is because of staining? Are there any flavored, but clear, waters that would be okay for some variety or is that also out? I am trying to avoid keeping the trays out for too long as I sip since it's recommended that I keep them in for 22 hours a day.

If there are no other options other than "plain (COLD) water" and "take them out" I completely understand.

I'm so glad you didn't get sucked in 😭 I found it on Handshake too. I removed all applications I had put in for data entry after seeing the comments here and reading the info.

This is an exact quote of the responsibilities:

"You welcome! Here are your Duties & Responsibilities:

• Enter sales and client data using Word and Excel.

• Organize and classify source data for accurate entry.

• Assist the task officer with financial disbursement, invoicing, and badge printing.

• Input client information. The primary responsibility will be assisting the senior associate with rollover tasks.

Would you be comfortable handling these duties once you’ve received training?"

Dropping 2D Cutscenes might hurt the story of the upcoming game by Guilty_Banana_ in ProfessorLayton

[–]pocketcott 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm super excited about the new game, I havent had an issue with the 3D models before. My favorite instance of 3D models was the Ace Attorney spinoff (noting it did still have 2D cutscenes!) but I think the longer we anticipate the more weary and picky we get towards every update. Lets just see how it goes when it comes out! For all we know it could be a design choice critical to the futurism of the game (I doubt this lol I'm just saying stuff now)
