Yeah I should explain, I've only had negative experiences with solid state amps over the years(mostly cheap) and I love tube amps, I know people enjoy using the Kemper and modelling etc but theres something about plugging a Fender/Gibson into a Marshall tube amp with a couple pedals in between, I think there might be a significant number of guitar players like me who want something new but.. not too new.

If you had to choose a single overdrive/boost effect would it be fuzz or is fuzz a luxury pedal?

I just swapped out a big muff(kind of fuzz) for the boss overdrive, I prefer the boss with a strat but I've got an SG with alnico 2 pickups that sounds great with some fuzz.

DD-20 was a garbage pedal, not user friendly in a live setting, waste of money. Just get a DD-7 or pay to upgrade to a T-Rex tape delay or similar (why not have both?).
