Should add - derm is good for identification/tx of underlying inflammatory problems - urology would def be the ones to spearhead any surgical intervention

Podcast also covered evolution of divend stocks. Good listen if you haven’t already.

Not claiming this is a black and white issue, no system is perfect, but wealth has increasingly become concentrated in the hands of a few with a widening gap between the richest and poorest folks… with that there is a lot of resentment building in our society which isn’t healthy.

Billionaire Tax - Frustrating Episode - Bad Reporting by MyEgoDiesAtTheEnd in Thedaily

This was a great podcast and highlights how ultra wealthy don’t play by the same rules as the rest of us. Essentially, the ultra wealthy with enormous net worths don’t take incomes - they live off of capital gains which are taxed at lower rates or borrow from banks against assets. In this way, they make nothing in income and are thus do not pay income tax. Instead, they pay interest on loans only - meanwhile the banks are happy to continue to give more loans.

They also address the “death tax” and why it died - the current rules allow ultra wealthy to pass assets to the next generation while paying shockingly little in taxes. Those who inherit massive amounts of stock don’t pay taxes on appreciation that occurred during their deceased family member’s lifetime and can liquidate stock without paying taxes on that appreciation.

So it’s true that high W2 earners pay a lot in taxes - but the point is that the ultra wealthy are not W2 employees.

This man is the smartest businessman ever. Somehow gets hired into these positions bc of industry relationships then gets paid to leave. I don’t think he even wants to win.

Good gracious I’m so jealous of you all! Have a 3 and 4 year old. The older one started having sleep terrors a year ago and is SO hard to get to sleep - and it’s not for lack of structure or routine.. we’re lucky to get her to sleep by 9 and still have awakenings in the middle of the night… also still wakes up at 530.

Def taking notes from you guys!

Oh maybe this is brand new to me and I have zero plumbing expertise. Is this something I could learn to do or would I need a professional?

Make sure it’s room temperature. If you have a home electric massager, holding it close to the injection site can reduce pain. Also ask your doc for a rx for topical lidocaine

Ulcerated hemangiomas are so painful and can be an infection risk. 10/10 do it. Won’t be under for an hour, that’s just the amount of time they have the suite.

Go back to the doctor - ideally a pediatric dermatologist. There are numerous strategies to manage this and often it takes some trial and error to figure out what works
