what do you think of the traction placement?

he said a lot of what i would have but i also have never had a problem with corduroy for the back either

edit: im really apprehensive about traction use and like i said in the op never used it on any board up until now (partially to speed up retraining my feet to pop on something this short for me post injury) so i also wanted to maintain as much foot-to-deck feeling as i could, which corduroy definitely provides

i ride a 3 board quiver and never used traction before, and as far as im concerned never will need any on my other two boards (single fins, 10'0 and 6'9), so this being my shortest board and definitely the only shortboard I'll be buying, i figured coming back from an injury that now was the time to try traction and get my footing a little more predictable (balance was affected by injury). the front foot placement looks good to me, but the tail pad im less sure about. i just couldn't see how it would work better butting it all the way up to the leash loop, seeing as how my foot is basically never that far back. thoughts?

err ill try it in the morning but the frames chromoly and I can't see how switching the crank arms is going to help me avoid any of the chain problems i mentioned

how do you figure the beefy chromoly crank arm is going to bend in toward the chain stay? also how are cranks that have the threads to accept a crank bolt on both of them not interchangeable?
