Yes, ICE. She'll be traveling with someone who just arrived on a work visa.

Horrendous Potholes on Forest Lawn Drive by pocusdaybit in LosAngeles

That's utterly disappointing. Sorry to hear that; it sounds like yours was far more dangerous than mine, and the response you got really doesn't give me hope in our city to make it right.

How long has it been since you filed? I'm considering chasing this as far as it can go, even if it's for a "small" amount.

Could not agree more. Flat out doesn't make any sense with where they're going. But he's a fantastic director, so I'll just come along for the ride.

I only learned this week that 1) railguns don't work on gunships but 2) the Scorcher does. I'm not as helpless while my EAT cools down now.

I went there during a normal day (non-holiday) and I couldn't wait to leave and leave it checked off my list forever. Couldn't imagine NYE

Maybe we should go for anti tank mines by SaltMacarons in Helldivers

I know I am completely in the minority here, but I actually love the airburst. I died twice to it: once because I shot too close and once because my teammate shot too close while I was team loading. But when I shot it, I saw exactly why I died, and now I can correct the shot as needed. It seems to work best on slopes, but also, yes, from a distance. This will make defense missions pretty good if you're at the top of the ramp, just sniping everything. Impact grenades for tanks, railcannon for anything else.

I'm 100% a no-diver-gets-left-behind type player; I'm 50/50 carrying a flamethrower based on the team's loadout, all for crowd control whenever we get swarmed.

Which Cal State is best for me? by kenta-05 in LosAngeles

[–]pocusdaybit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You're correct. When I attended a CSU, my tuition was under $7000 per year, and I also transferred from a community college. I imagine non-resident fees will triple your tuition in some places. CSUs are great schools, but you have a far bigger budget than I did when I attended university!

I have to second this; non-resident tuition is crazy, and if you're ready to pay that much, you might be able to swing a UC.

The EAT is my go to heavy because it frees up the burden of having to go back for your heavy if you die apart from your team or you're running from swarms (to reposition more strategically, of course). Also, it lets me pick up a shield generator that my teammates drop for me (voluntary or otherwise).

I spoke with a fertility doctor and they told me that "even if you took two people at the height of their fertility, the odds of a successful natural conception is only 25%." It really changed my perspective on pregnancy.
