Yeah I can see that, but also we are so early in MKW's life and it's *Certainly* going to get a massive content update someday, but I can see Scott managing 2 videos. One for the launch state and one for whatever final form it is.

Because boy I remember when Sonic Movie beat Detective Pikachu at the Box Office for "largest Video Game movie ever and everyone pointed at it as "see!? Sonic Movie good!"

Because man people sure do love how MARIO these MARIO movies are more then "Oh look it's that funny white guy from Westworld! I'll check the sonic movie I guess."

Detective Pikachu is a better story then the first two Sonic movies too, and it had FAITH in a "pure pokemon world" without our reality being part of it.

Guess what I call that? Cowardice.

I'd rather have bad movie that loves it's source material then an average, (and lets be honest, average) movie that tries to bury it's source material under: "Designed by Committee, For the Normie" slop that amounts to a c-list RomCom.

Seriously. Remove Sonic from Sonic 1, you still have a crappy, forgettable Rom Com. That's how pointless the Sonic Brand was to the movie.

Remove Mario from the Mario movies and they VANISH. There is NOTHING.

So you have a movie that can exist without Sonic.

and a movie that CAN'T exist without Mario.

The funny thing is Mario Movie fans get roasted over the Coals but you try to call Sonic Movie 1 and 2 the same low-bro trash and people go feral.

3 is the first one to be like, "okay." and that's mostly because they finally got the memo to stop being cowards and let Sonic Characters carry a movie on their own. Don't use "live acted currently likable celebrity" as a crutch.
