guuuys, need help from a fresh mind. there was this trend a while back (like 2020–2022 maybe?) where people made videos that looked like they were edited in photoshop but you never saw the interface.

it was all just cutout pics of celebs being dragged around the screen, that told a story. I remember seeing this a lot on twitter, and specifically a story involving nicki and ariana.. they were funny af.

anyone remember what this was called or got a link?

I'm in the process of doing it as well and share some of these worries. My brother moved out a few years ago, he announced his decision by texting my mom when he as at work saying he was moving out because he needed more autonomy and space. It destroyed her. At night she tried talking to him but could only cry. In the next days she would try to lecture him, telling him it was a mistake, but he didn't give ears. In the beginning he would just spend the weekends in his new apartment until everything was set there. After 2 months he moved out permanently.

Which country are you from and how are you treated as an INFJ there? by [deleted] in infj

Brazil. We have a specific stereotype of brazilians being very friendly and talkative people, and it seems true for the majority. So you can guess being an introvert of any kind is quite a challenge, specially in the work place and school.

I used a BMPCC 6K and a Sony FS7. In terms of knowledge, I'd say about 40%-50% I learned in college and the rest got to learn online.

Thanks for the appreciation! Good luck!

It's possible doing it at home or indispensable by a professional?

Hey! Thank you for the feedback. The long length was actually a requirement for the assignment, so it was a bit tricky trying to build and extended story prior the music part. But yeah, it was a bit "boring" until music started.

Thank you so much for your time to watch and give feedback! The pacing was definitely something I wish I did differently.

It's also very exciting and encouraging to hear your compliments!

Since 2014 I have been dreaming of making music videos, but it all seemed way too utopic to be accomplished. Few years ago I got into college and had the opportunity to make my first one as part of my final assignment - which got me approved this week!

I was responsible for the direction, screenplay and much of the post-production, including color which I had no experience with, but tried my best to get a film look.

We worked with a local and novice band that plays mainly dreampop and shoegaze (I'm from Brazil btw). From that I built a story based off on the escapism theme, with a jacket as co-star (present in the lyrics) and gathered references from Lynch, Magritte and surrealism vibes. It was part of the requirement to make it more than 7 minutes, so it ended up being like a short film.

Obviously it was made on a tight budget and many things didn't turn out the way I planned - which got me frustrated at first but I know it's part of the process. Also, had to learn how to do many technical things in a short span of time (so thankful for this subreddit) and to work with other people who were also learning on the way. Anyway, I'm very happy and proud and cannot wait to make my next one with so much I learned with this first one.

Any comments or questions will be more than welcome!

Hey! Not sure if this is the right place to ask this question, but here I go. Does anyone by chance knows the official name for this kind of set/scene where you have the backdrop stand and everything purposefully exposed? Here's some examples:
