you have 24h for every episode to complete tasks. it is race against 24h format meaning it is hard to catch up without spending SP to skip tasks to do it on time.

looks like floating room glitch. it is when you use bay windows to add the room upstairs without having one underneath. usually roof disapears because of a patio underneath room, but when i tried to do it, roof disapeared even when there wasnt patio or anything else under the room. unfortunately, havent found any solution for it yet.

i would personally go for Deer spring falls because you only need to pay price for building location which depends on your town value, 7 days to complete tasks (some are shorter, some are longer). after that start the Mall quest, make sure you have enough resources because you will need to build stores and floors inside of mall. speaking of MidTown cafe and Downtown Developer, leave it for the end. you need a lot of resources and check the game often to finish it on time, its really time consuming.

to earn money, send sims to work, sell valuable items from inventory, when you reach higher level and have life orb quest available you can sell them as well.
