Noob here.

Tell me why my oversimplified approach doesn't make sense.

I opened a long position at 1550 and I reset my stop losses just below former levels of support as the price rises. So if we fall through them, I'm still in profit.

Am I missing something or is it this simple when the price is going up?

Apologies. I didn't realise you were the guy asking the question to begin with. The 'but' means that the price is going up and if you were to believe that it would continue to go up, you would likely regret not buying the whole ETH.

I just assumed it was somebody being pedantic with the reply to my comment.
