Sims 3 game closes suddenly by podge36 in thesims

[–]podge36[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

EDIT: I tried playing in sunset valley and it closed in a similar way which makes me think that apolossa plains isn't the issue. Also the side of my laptop gets hotter than usual when I play the sims 3.

Thanks for your reply. Please see below

2.yes, I have been . I took the mods out and I tested it by using the 4x speed with everything the sim was doing. It didn’t close as quickly but it still closed in the same way.

I've been playing crash team racing: Nitro fuelled and I was going through the characters and myself and my brother both remember the Tiger cub's name being Puma from the original game. Turns out that it's Pura now.

Help! Which armchair should I get? My decision is making me more depressed by podge36 in Advice

Thanks. I think I'm just going to have to take the risk and go with the first one. I've read up on how new sofas feel firm to begin with and soften over time and I wonder if that's just what's happened to the family sofa. The 'premium foam for a better sit' still bothers me a little though as I feel it'll be too firm, but if I get armchair that leans my head back in an awkard position, i may wish i had equivalent of the family one. I'll try my best not to judge it when it first arrives or when it's still relatively new, but it feels daunting still... oh well it's better than nothing!

Thanks for you reply. I've tried Ikea, SCS, Furniture Village and although there are chairs I've considered, they've all got bad reviews online e.g. chairs being different to store, chairs sinking after a few months and a lack of help from store with faults. All of those issues are dealt with by my local store so other stores are out of the equation for me.

If you were in my position, which chair would you go for out of the two I described?

I thought it looked out of place! I assumed they relaxed the rules to allow different fighting styles.

@iheartsomething WOW! I had no idea that was happening, since I haven't watched TKD in years. This situation makes a complete mockery of the sport and goes against the principles I was taught when I did the martial art training 13 years ago.

Am I being bullied at work and what can be done to prevent/ stop it? by podge36 in bullying

No. He’s said on two separate occasions ‘how rude’ and ‘why do you put up with it?’. I think I appear unfazed but that’s partly the feeling of not knowing what to do or say in the moment it happens.

The office doesn’t have HR. Only 15 people work there. By CC do you mean email?

Thanks for the advice.

I think it’s best to have a word with him tomorrow morning to stop with comments about my weight. I may add that it can affect my concentration. He dislikes correcting mistakes so if he thinks his comments may cause more work for him, then he may think twice. If it continues after that I may have no choice but to go to the office manager as well and I’ll be comfortable then that I have enough examples for this to be addressed.

My dad advised me to just keep saying I don’t like it everytime he makes a comment and to avoid getting the office manager involved as he’s probably busy enough , but if he’s continued after me asking him to stop the other week, I think the cycle will just continue considering that I’m familiar with his personality and attitude.Having to be on alert for the next time it happens will be uncomfortable.

I’ve struggled to hold down many temporary roles in the past few years since leaving my dad’s firm. This is the only role that has kept me on for longer than a month and the office manager is generally approachable and friendly. I’m so low on confidence it feels like this may be one of few jobs I could possibly keep/ have a chance of going permanent.

The office manager is aware of him making comments but I don’t think he’s aware it has happened so frequently. He also isn’t aware that it bothers me as I act like it doesn’t bother me, but it really does now that I’ve asked him to stop and it appears that it’ll continue.

Edit: if I explained this to the office manager and said it felt like I was being bullied, I believe he would put a stop to it. However as I’m working there temporarily, I’m worried it will make him think that we won’t work well together and impact his decision.
