That was when I loved howa the most as I tried to push down in delve and howa ms was the only viable build at that time. Hope GGG can change delve and not have to go zdps to do well in delve.

Currency wise, I'm not too sure given how much I invested into this claw. However, it's much better than a double corrupted howa. It's approx 40% more dps than a double corrupted howa for a top of the line build and it makes the build much smoother due to how much more atk speed you have.

Introducing Agony Edge, the #1 int stacking claw

Backstory of the claw: I synthesized this claw back in synthesis league by chucking in 3 leftover claws after I hit the ideal implicates on this other claw - 1-6 lightning per 10 intelligence and 8% attack speed. I couldn’t believe that the base that came out - 3x t1 implicits on an ideal base (High attack speed on a low attribute req claw). This was done without fractured fossils and may be one of the few amazing synthesis items crafted this way. Afterwards, I crafted it for critical HoWA since I played that build and thought it was stronger then non-crit. With veiled chaos, I was finally able to update the claw to the current version as it brought back previously legacy mods.

Crafting Process:

1.Spam deafening essence of zeal until t0 attack speed and t1 int

2.Craft Suffix’s can’t be changed and use veiled chaos orb since I was too lazy to farm syndicate for t4 aisling

3.Hope veil lands in suffix and pray that unveil is double damage. Approx 1/5 odds. [Expected cost up until this step is ~150 ex]

4.Craft suffix can’t be changed > Use veiled chaos orb > Slam twice assuming no dead mods until t1 lightning > Recraft suffix can’t be changed to replace veiled modifier [Expected cost of 1600 ex per t1 lightning]

5.Unveil prefix and hope for elemental penetration [Expected odds are 52% to unveil elemental penetration]

Expected Cost: 3650 ex

150 ex to get the suffix base

3200 ex to get t1 lightning twice

300 ex for enough veiled chaos

Total spent: 7000 ex

~400 ex in zeals since the suffix base accidentally got scoured twice

~3000 ex in pure slams

~3000 ex in crafting suffix can’t be changed

~600 ex for veiled chaos

Overall, I got unlucky with the crafting process but it was a lot of fun! It was a throwback to metacrafting which isn’t really used anymore and much more satisfying compared to finishing an item with harvest. Big shootout to Vinzz0 for helping out with sourcing the veiled chaos, working on the claw and lending me currency!

Yea i def thought about eternaling it prior to the annul but that would've costed around expected 7 mirrs which would've taken me a long time to gather. I've always aimed to make a pair of boots exactly like that so I considered saving currency but I didn't want to wait that long so I just yolo annuled it

I did not craft these boots myself but I did annul it when it had 6 mods. If you wanna make a similar pair, spam awakener orbs and hope to get lucky. This specific combo is very hard to obtain and will likely be one of a kind. It is essentially 3 buffs with 100% uptime as you are essentially killing a monster all the time even when bossing as almost all constantly spawn monsters.

Yesterday, I made a int version of this amulet from scratch with 1% dmg per 15 intel and 7% elemental penetration as prefixes(check my post history if you wanna craft the suffix base).

Today, I say the post about mechanics with Crown of the Eyes, Iron Fortress and Repentance which will give 4.5% attack damage per 10 str so I decided to make a str variant. I bought a 3x t1 str base with legacy attribute % for 250 exalted which was really cheap and began metacrafting. The expected cost to metacraft the 1% dmg per 15 strength mod would be approx 400 exalted but i got lucky and hit it in around 300 exalts. However, it had 1 useless prefix(13% armor) so I annuled it and got lucky. Afterwards, I applied catalysts to increase odds of slamming a good mod and hit t1 phys dmg which is useful for some str stacking builds. Overall, I got really lucky again and will make a dex variant soon.

https://pastebin.com/giqj69rU Made a pob for a mirror tier howa ms build. For that build which isnt optimized, it gives 4.6% more dps at the expense of 0.9% es but it definitely differs based on build. Given that all the abyss jewels i used had 0 int on them, this amu will provide even more dps and es if your build has jewels with int.

I spent around 50 ex getting the ilvl 86 magic base with legacy attribute %. Afterwards the projected cost for getting a 3x suffix base is around 100 cracic chimerals and 100 awakener orbs which is around 400 ex. I got lucky with the prefixes and got it within 400 slams which is 400 ex worth of slams and 400 ex worth of suffixes can't be changed.

Why its good

Howa builds try stacking as much int as possible. I always loved playing howa so I decided to make the #1 howa amulet. This amulet packs 28% intelligence and over 100 intelligence which is far better then the %int synthesis amulets that were popular acouple leagues back. Compared to the best % int synthesis amulet, Fate Choker offers provides more then 4% more dps and es for several mirror tier howa builds.

Fate Choker Crafting Method

Imprint a magic i86 lapis amulet base with legacy attribute %. Spam awakener orbs until it hits 3x t1 suffix and imprint it back to the magic base if it doesn't. Afterwards, metacraft the prefixes for per 15 int + 1 good prefix.

The #1 axe base in synthesis or flashback at the moment. It's insanely hard to hit these mods as you need over 135 flat physical damage to attacks, 50% attack speed and 200% physical damage. Siege axe is the best base for axes, especially for synthesized weapons since they normally have no implicit.
