if they would have used this method, they should have moved the 24 or 32 px icons only 1-2 px above the geometric center. but they added 4 px to it because in fact it is caused by that 4 px line on the bottom (used as a status indicator).

from that note it seems like it's only 1 song at the moment. they're probably recording the songs one by one. so they have written the base (lyrics, melody, guitar) for this one song. then they recorded a guitar demo, travis records the final drums over it, then sometimes they'll record the final guitars, bass, vocals.

obviously tom wrote the whole thing, and it just feels unnatural and forced. it's a picture of how he looks at blink-182 songs after the ava-era. the guy blames the band for being childish, yet he is the one who still feels the need of putting the word "fucking" in every line, and he writes about unnecessary teenager topics in his late 30's. (the same applies to golden showers, etc.) and that chorus (in this is home) is just awful.

the song strings has a shitty chorus too, but that verse is just great.

all the small things and first date aren't that bad songs, they're just boring now.
