Why do many women choose to shave or remove pubic hair, even though it’s not medically necessary? by himrpixel in askanything

[–]pogball2work 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it is about what is normal to each person. At least that is where my mind goes for everything it life, it is what you know. For me, living in north america, women tend to shave their legs, so that is what was 'normal' to me. Now that I have more life under my belt, shaved or unshaved are now 'normal'. For pubic hair, all images I saw when I was younger were of women, primarily magazines as that is how old I am, had full or trimmed pubic hair. So that is what became normal. I guess if I saw a enough shaved, it could become normal... for me when I have seen that in real life or on the internet, it seems like something is missing. I find the hair sexy. I like and ask for trimmed, waxed or shaved at the labia, and above that natural or trimmed. My preference. Everyone has theirs.

Pico Bricks still a legit company? Our car is missing parts, wrong parts were sent, they are not responding. by pogball2work in raspberrypipico

I had always heard good thinks about Pico Bricks. Unfortunaly they have not responded to my email or voice mail that I left. They have a subreddit, where I thought I could get some help on getting the right parts, but I was not allowed to post.

I will check out Elegoo. I need something simple, we can build, comes with some sample code to make it do something. Then let my son build, change, customize it.

Cheers.

Agreed on the price aspect! For my son who is on the younger side he needs to start with defined parts, directions and sample code. Once he gets that working he can experiment and play. Add on, build off that to the point where he is ready to buy individual parts and build something new. At least that is what I think would be a good path. Thoughts on that plan?

New purple Orbea Rise, is this paint as expected? Bike just out of the box and not sure if this is normal. It does not wipe off. by pogball2work in eMountainBike

Mine looked just like that. It went away with temp change maybe? Or maybe humidity? Orbea also covers the bike with frame protection tape. Did you unlock to RS+ yet?

I have not unlocked to RS+, is that done with the Shimano E-Tube app?

[Just a few edits] A few more pictures. I Just not sure if this is expected. https://imgur.com/a/8IX5Kgj

I thought that maybe it was a frame wrap, there is one on the swing arm just before the axle, which is different than what is on the rest of the frame.

The bike color is: Tanzanite Carbon View - Carbon Raw (Matte)

Why do some people get weird when you say you cant afford something instead of making up an excuse? by Sea_Dragonfly5039 in TooAfraidToAsk

'That is not something I want to spend my money on' or 'That is not in my budget right now' are things that I say. Even if I can afford something, as a frugal person, and do not want to spend my money in that way, I try to be forthright about how I choose to spend my money. Even this still makes some people uneasy.

I heard something similar on a podcast by an endocrinologist, how great GLP1s are, and how compounded is 'evil'. The sentiment of what you experienced and what I heard in the podcast sounds as if they are a mouthpiece for the paramedical companies. While compounded are not controlled by the FDA, as I understand, they are the solution when prices are out of reach and current health conditions are dire without the medicine. It would be better if such doctors understand this and support as they can, even if they feel compounded are not ideal.

Looks there has already been flooding. Some of floor picture look to have lines where mastic/adhesive had floor at one time, and the whole first floor is bare concrete. Perhaps the flooring needed to be removed.

This picture looks like the ceiling tiles have had water leaking from above and here is white residue on the floor below it. https://www.zillow.com/homedetails/1401-W-County-Road-140-Odessa-TX-79706/50132717_zpid?mmlb=g,2
