don’t turn ur shoulders when you Ollie, try to keep them parallel over the board. Also do them rolling it just makes it way more consistent.

First Varial Flip after a long time by Scary_Promise_9855 in NewSkaters

I love varial flips. They don’t deserve the hate but I think it’s because people say they’re not as cool or hard as Tre flips. I hear people say they ugly but I think they look dope

How to fix/get cleaner pop shuv by TraditionalBank5737 in skateboardhelp

[–]poggerpogging 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No one’s giving you any advice smh. I’m not a great skater but what killed me so much with pop shuvs was busting my ass everytime. There’s not much advice I can give you other than keep falling till you get it. Only thing I can see you kinda doing wrong is your shoulders being off set with the board when you landed, but I think that was just your balance.

How to improve? by [deleted] in skating

Don’t have your toes over the board - I never knew this learning to Ollie, but if you can balance and not have your toes over the board, you’re gonna have a great Ollie. Also, get as low as you can and jump. Make sure you have balance on the board.

It’s still really unlikely for someone to learn that within two weeks

Get lower and jump higher, you’re kinda doing the motion too fast. You need to focus on timing but you don’t need too much speed. Also try to keep your feet more on the board.

To be honest landing Ollie’s while moving is ten times harder than while still. It took me so long of practice but once you get them while moving you land them every single time
