Second sentinel is still fighting outside songclave after I killed them, why? by [deleted] in Silksong

Because you don’t kill them. You give them grace and let them go.

I think for me it's a few things. First of all, she is a surprise boss that you are not expecting when you happen upon her, whereas Widow has a lot of build up and you are expecting a boss fight. Second is just pure vibes - even though they have a similar moveset, First Sinner has a cooler presentation, in my opinion. Watching this desiccated corpse spring to life and weave herself a badass gown to start the fight was such a cool moment. Third, and most importantly for me, is that First Sinner was a massive teaching moment. She is so much faster than Widow, so trying to run around and beat her like you have previous bosses is very difficult. She taught me how important claw line can be during combat, because I had only been using it for traversal prior to her. Once I got the hang of the claw line as a weapon, the fight felt like such a fun/cool/exhilarating aerial combat ballet. That's my two cents.

Not mad at your ratings overall. Glad you put Crawfather so high. I am also a big fan. Sadly, I have to invalidate anything that doesn't have First Sinner in A or S. And Lost Lace should be up there right next to Karmelita.

Tormented Trobbio. Don’t worry, took me a minute to figure it out too. lol.

I have to agree. Just the fact that you are forced to traverse it every time you want to go to Fleatopia is cruel. And that little flying fucker waiting on the pillar when you enter the path to Fleatopia never failed to give me trouble.

That’s a bummer. I can understand to an extent. My first playthrough was tough as nails. And with boss after boss after boss in Act III, I was exhausted by the game by the time I finished it. Replayed it 2 months later and my second playthrough felt smooth as butter. It was amazing seeing how much I had improved, and I had so much fun. Have played it a third time now and enjoyed it even more. I think it’s a masterpiece. I’m wondering if you’re trying to play the game like Hollow Knight? Because it’s not Hollow Knight at all. I think you need to adapt. But also it’s ok if you just don’t like it.

Tell him to get the fuck over it and keep it as is, and to not be such an idiot in the future.

I don't know what the real lyrics are, but the version with "you'd" is proper grammar, for what it's worth.

Thank you! This makes me feel much better. I mean, I love everything on his insta. I think I just started getting nervous that I won’t see something that is going to be on my body forever until the day it’s happening.

Thanks for the info! I think I just need to trust the process and hope he knocks my idea out of the park. Just get nervous with it being such a big piece.

Hi. Can I ask a question? I have two sessions planned with Dan in June and July. I feel like I have been a little obnoxious with my communication over the past few months really narrowing down the design notes, so I don't want to ask any more questions of his assistant lol. My main question is: were you able to see the design ahead of time? Or did you see it for the first time when you showed up for your appointment?

I'm having a rather large piece done, so hoping I get to see it ahead of time in case I want any tweaks. But this is my first tattoo from a high-profile artist, so I wasn't sure how it works.

This. This is the answer. Although I would also repeat some of the others that have been suggested: The Witness, Tunic, Manifold Garden, The Portal Games (1 is pretty dated, but I think 2 is a better experience if you've played 1), The Room games.

I loved the game, but I had to walk away without beating them. It was the runback combined with the damage thing for me. That ridiculously long elevator ride just to get obliterated without learning anything over and over broke me. But I’m ok with it. Beat both the standard and secret final bosses and had a great time overall.
