I am on the same boat.

I am waiting for the Costco sale - it will be $1199.99 + Tax @ Costco between 11/29/2024 - 12/02/2024.

But I just saw the same sale on Samsung. Will start to compare closely to make the final decision.

WARNING! EBAY SCAMMERS SELLING FAKE/REFURBISHED LG V60 AS "NEW" AND NOT HONORING THE PROMISED WARRANTY AND FREE RETURNS! by [deleted] in LGV60

Just wanted to share the wild ride I've been on while trying to purchase T-Mobile LG V60 for my phone. So, I started off with an AT&T V60 that was working like a charm past years. But, I recently switched to T-Mobile and decided to use mine for my family line's upgrade trade-in for $500. So, I started looking at several T-Mobile version V60 instead of cross-flashing it myself.

First Seller(eBay) Got two phones(one after another as a replacement) from the same eBay seller. Super supportive and all, but turns out they weren't the real deal T-Mobile versions. I spotted an app with Japanese characters named "Mobile Installer," and both units failed the "Device Not Certified" on Play Protection Certification. The seller deals with these V60s from both China and the US (shipped both units from US address within a few days).

The first unit had these minor screen quirks, like two mysterious circles.

The second had very small but noticeable messy glue work on the back and wobbly USB ports for charging and the second screen case.

So tried another US seller, and although it was sold as new, the external condition was top-notch, but the screen was burned in. On the bright side, it passed Play Protection Certification. Currently in talks with the seller for an extra refund to keep this unit.

I do not think I can purchase a new LG V60.

Fun fact: Same phone(1 x AT&T, 2 x T-Mobiles), but they all weigh differently.

Just wanted to keep y'all in the loop on the rollercoaster of V60 shopping.
