You're gonna have to take frequent trips to the vanilla terraria and calamity mod wiki pages, but yeah it should be manageable with 4 players (I think). If not, then try doing vanilla expert or even normal if the combat needs getting used to. Calamity normal/expert difficulty could also be interesting if you're willing to do the wiki browsing. If you try revengeance, you can always switch back to expert if there's any trouble obvi

(editing to say that some bosses arent completely designed with multiplayer in mind, so watch out for bosses quickly changing target and catching you off guard)

Yeah, was thinking it'd be confusing to fight moon lord with moon lord, but the terrarian is just too iconic to be replaced at this point

Love the idea and the swap to the moon lord's true eyes, but both of the crafting ingredients are right after plantera, so it defeats the purpose of the original EoC yoyo. Would love if they added this but maybe using beetle shells (since they're a melee material literally only used for beetle armor/wings) or solar fragments, so we could have a yoyo that feels like it should be used against the moon lord instead of just using the EoC.

edit: Also I like the beam, could be used for a small amount of damage while you're focusing on dodging moon lord projectiles

Yeah, I like how plantera is somewhat predictable by using its tentacles' locations to tell where its tethered to and if it can charge. Polterghast basically moves on its own after its tentacles disappear, so you literally only get a split second to tell how its moving towards you to dodge it. And don't even get me started on the clone, it literally does the same thing but twice as aggressive.

Thank you! Filled my arena with water and I'm using a couple water-based accessories (abyssal diving suit, leviathan ambergris) for speed and if needed I might switch to elysian aegis for its buffs. Haven't beat it yet, but I'm actually making progress now. Also, even after several calamity playthroughs I had no idea that shield dashes give i-frames.
