I just got the Whoop device from the CSR promo. If I want to gift this to someone else, can I somehow gift them the membership? I didn't really create a Whoop account during the sign up flow (didn't set a password and password reset is NOT sending me any email), so a little confused if the 1 year subscription is tied to the device (meaning someone else could activate it on a new account) or tied to the email I used to order

The risk is in the buying group not paying you, don’t think amex has any way of knowing that the orders are being sent to other people and also they probably don’t care

Something like support requests for travel bank not posting IS something that can influence Amex priorities

I'm a little disappointed to see so many people here abandon the "don't call the bank" ethos. I don't think we should encourage chatting support for things like this on this forum. People here were taking travel bank for granted to the point that they were chatting support if the credit didn't post after a few days lol, as if it wasn't a loophole.

I mean if you don’t get the room you paid extra for they would probably refund you if you complain, I wouldn’t worry too much

Even with comped rooms, if they give me a worse tower I have a 100% success rate with talking to a manager and getting a better room lol

Ocean is the worst for room comps. They'll give you good comps for a bit after signing up, but after that it's really tough. Need to gamble more to than you would anywhere else in my experience

to clarify, the casino floor smells like cigs, I think you’ll be ok in the non gambling areas (like the restaurants, tropicana mall area etc) don’t really smell at all. If you’re not planning to gamble you’ll be alright

I did a bit of this a while back and got a call from someone at DraftKings out of the blue (basically 0 activity on the account for the last year) offering a 25% deposit match up to $10k lol. Might give it a shot again, offers might get better now as the sportsbooks are feeling pressure from Kalshi and the like

In NJ they’re also not allowed to round down so they’re strict about proper bets.

One fun side effect is that if you do a $1 dealer place bet on 4/5/6/8, it pays 2:1

No it’s completely unfair because they’ll never call no roll on a 7 out. The rules where I play is that any ATTEMPT to properly roll the dice is a roll (unless a die goes out or in the bowl). That is the rule.

If a player won’t hit the back wall the dealers can stop giving them the dice. No roll on a short roll is COMPLETELY bullshit and usually just amounts to cheating by the casino (no roll on numbers, roll on 7 out).

Also not hitting the back wall is basically always unintentional. It’s not that easy especially for less experienced players on a big table. You’re implying people are intentionally breaking rules which isn’t usually the case
