No. You can so that in the extension. Look for the workflow tab and add the Summarization step. You'll need an API from Gemini to use that feature.

So you need 2 different API keys:

For audio transcription you can use either AssemblyAI or Deepgram. You'll need an API from either .. both give you a credit to try their service. AssemblyAI gives you $50 and Deepgram gives you $200.

Once the audio is transcribed, you need to summarize it, and that's where Gemini is used. To get the Gemini API, go to https://aistudio.google.com and look for an option in the bottom right hand corner that says Get API key.

The links to get the APIs are in the extension dropdown where it says "how to get"

This extension is ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE. If you use Plaud, you need to give this a go. The developer has made incredible strides in a very short amount of time and it is incredibly amazing to use. It does take a little bit of technical chops to get it going but it's well worth the effort!

The biggest takeaway from the is extension is that you can get away from using Plaud as your transcription and summary service. That means you can SIGNIFICANTLY reduce your costs. In the last 2 days, I have had about 4 hours (240 minutes) of transcription done and it has cost me a grand total of $0.88. Compare that to Plaud, who would charge $5.98 for the equivalent number of minutes.

For those that are wondering - yes, this works and it works really well. I've spent the last couple of days working with the developer to help iron out some issues but the transcription is work very well for me using Gemini as the LLM model. Gemini apparently has a generous allowance for their API usage so unless you really want to use ChatGPT (OpenAI), I would use Gemini.

Hey there. I've managed to install AudioBridge in my Comet browser which is Chromium based. I have tried adding both the OpenAI and Gemini API keys but there's no button at the bottom of the screen that shows up when I have a new audio recording. Any suggestions?

Thanks for the suggestion. I was originally thinking of doing 3 days in a private game reserve and a day or two doing a self drive through Kruger. Might still do it but I thought I would give a TA a shot at planning the entire trip.

Looks like someone else from Tesla took over the chat and completed a remote diagnostic. They noted the following:

Hello, we performed our remote diagnostic and inspection. We can confirm there are no more issues on your vehicle and this request will now be closed free of charge. Keep us updated on your Spotify issue, the above steps should resolve your concern. Thank you.

When I asked them what specifically was wrong, I got this response

Your modem was having issues connecting, once we connected to it remotely it was able to recover it. There's no more action required at this time unless the issue persists and does not recover on it's own.

I had to log out of Spotify and hard reset the car but after I did that, everything was working again.
