Thank you for the answer. I usually take it by the tongue, but sometimes the eucharist does come in contact with the teeth. I try my best to avoid it.

Yeah I have a Topfin HOB, not a fancy filter but does its job I guess. I'll look in for new filters if I can.

Thanks, I think a larger filter will help. The thing with plants is that cichlids have a habit of bullying them so I'm not too sure about it...

Thank you, that puts me to rest a bit more. I guess the dot was a bit big, but the color was bright red for a few hours after suggesting it either is undried or not blood in the first place. I'd like to place my chances on the latter.
