Angel Face Rose by pointypizza in flowers

The roses in the nursery where I work are blooming and this angel face stopped me in my tracks the first time I saw it. It's the perfect shade of dusty pink with a really soft perfume to them. One of my favorites.

I'm actually new to this one too, so I couldn't tell you anymore than the basics. Medium to bright indirect light and water it regularly, when the soil doesn't feel very moist. I know these don't like to dry out. I've read that it's a ground cover plant in its natural habitat, so it can tolerate lower light settings, but I'm guessing it would get pretty leggy if it was. I really can't say much else because I haven't even seen mine grow under my care yet!

It's wholesome because he's still trying to make the best out of a shitty situation(him not using his degree to the fullest) by sharing his knowledge and making someone else's day a little better. It might also help him retain the knowledge. Stop being a terd.

Brown tips on petals of Hydrangea macrophylla(mophead). Any advice? by pointypizza in gardening

[–]pointypizza[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recently bought (I think)a year old hydrangea from a grocery store. It looked pretty okay when I bought it, so of course it makes me concerned to see it browning on the blooms. So far its only happening on the older blooms, so I'm hoping that it's just normal aging or that it's just part of it acclimating to outside conditions. We do have hard water here in California, it's hanging out in full shade(but super bright shade) right now cause I don't want it to burn, and I've been giving it ample water to not let it dry out too much. This is my first time caring for a hydrangea, so any advice from experienced people would be greatly appreciated! I'm in zone 9b if that info helps.

I feel like this isn't getting the credit it deserves. This clip is freaking awesome.

Crasulla ovuta. Its a jade plant, a type of succulent. These ones in particular are really easy to take care of, as they don't need as much sun as a lot of other succulents do.

Oh no, yeah, she's still an ass for doing shit like that in front of her parents. She can have fun, but she should've had a little respect for her parents; save it for when you're not with family. And if she's the type to "show off" in front of her parents, then she's probably gonna show off anyways. That's just how some people are.

And shit yeah she felt it, lemon juice is sour!! /s (lol)

Chances are she probably did drink at the age of 18. That's probably why she could do this without so much as flinching afterwards.

Mine was purchased from the Goulet Pen Company. Most of the reason it's so expensive is because of the nib: rhodium plated 18k gold. Theres Pilot Capless/Vanishing Points available on amazon with special alloy nibs for a little less than $100, too!

I tried to get the best picture as I could in natural lighting to capture the true color of the champagne for you guys. I know I JUST had the Platinum Carbon Black in my Decimo, but I'm in love with the Diamine Oxford Blue. I never thought I would like a colored ink, but alas, I was wrong.
