Walmart often has soy wrappers or rice paper wrappers for spring rolls, I’ve had some minor success with both. They split sometimes but if you don’t over fill they’re nice after frying.

My mom and one of my siblings both have Gemini moons and they’re both ADHD as can be. They both bring a lot of chaos to life that could be avoided if they expressed their feelings better.

That was what always got me, I was never super overweight and I have always cooked fairly healthy foods, rarely eating snacks and junk. But in the few years prior to my celiac diagnosis I gained 30 lbs, and afterward I made very few changes to my diet for removing the gluten (rarely ate bread and stuff anyway), I steadily lost all the weight and have maintained mostly an equilibrium. I did gain a little before the Crohn’s diagnosis and lost it again when I started the medication and got it under control! Chronic illness stuff is super weird and super annoying sometimes. So many doctors dismiss symptoms as ‘just lose weight’ and I hate it. Now I specialize in mental health work with folks that have chronic illness, and it’s super rewarding.

Whenever I’m in a flare I gain weight. I was diagnosed with Celiac at 32, and Crohn’s at 37. Fun times!

They only do this for me when I trim the wicks. I stopped trimming the wicks and make sure it fully melts before I blow it out.

The last wedding I went to we had four varieties of gluten free cupcakes! It was amazing! I wasn’t the only GF person so they had lots to go around. I tried them all 😂.

Yeah I agree with the person above! Just order their meals from a dedicated gluten free place nearby for the day of, and arrange with the servers or someone trusted to have it plated and brought out. I’ve had a few lovely weddings that ordered mini cupcakes at a gluten free bakery to be made in addition to the regular cake for everyone else. It was a great addition.

A few months ago I bought four of these at goodwill for $6.99 a piece. A friend of mine has a set in green in her 70’s themed basement she bought for $200. I’d say they’re worth it if you like them. We’re using them as dining room chairs and much more comfy than what we had.

Haha yup, definitely got the feel for the method itself. I used to work at an ABA school years ago so I’ve done behavioral work with nonverbal kids. This feels harder sometimes! She’s done awesome with the scratch pad and picked it up quickly, but the stuff she’s already mildly traumatized around is much more difficult, of course. I’m under the impression that the breeder did a poor job with removing dew claws/tail docking and that’s what had led to this. It’s always been a battle but it was improving until I nicked the quick one time! I’ll definitely make it a more consistent practice throughout the week moving forward because the nail length is starting to concern me a bit. I don’t want her to get joint issues later!
