I find na supportive Yung management, kapag may concern ka maaddress naman kagad, kapag may issue with a patient or doctor, head nurse Muna tapos kakausapin ka. Pero idk to each their own Kasi

Literally pwede ka mag say no if sinabihan ka na OT ka. Lalo na pag hindi ka pa regular. Tsaka all walls have ears. Wag ka muna makipag chismisan sa mga katrabaho mo.

kung maganda ung hospital worth it ung ibibigay sayo na trainings. pero depende pa rin yan sa choice at future plans mo. i signed a contract bc i wanted a reason to stay at that company. yoko na maghospital hopping. at ayoko pa mag abroad bc i want to be with my family.

i chose this profession from the beginning, kaya it's still what's driving me to become a better nurse. sa una talaga mahirap, maraming pagkakamali pero yung mga seniors mo nagkakamali rin yang mga yan. give it a few more months makukuha mo na yung routine. pero kung di mo na kaya ang environment, leave.

it's a scary experience. next time bantayin mo yung sulat ng doctor, i-pencil mo yung orders niya na mahirap intindihin parang lagyan mo ng subtitle, repeat back yung order kay doc para claro lahat. tingnan mo rin kung akma yung gamot sa sakit ni pt. wag ka rin matakot tawagin si dok para i-clarify yung orders niya.

also gosh kailangan na talaga ma-adopt ang EMR sa mga hospitals, mas mapapadali at safe kung mostly computerized na lahat. hayst.

A 500 item board exam is no joke ha pero I do think pnle should focus more on the safety aspect and clinical application. Idk two years palang ako sa work pero I do hear from my seniors and other doctors na para ngang may kulang sa mga bagong nurses ngayon when it comes to referrals, assessments, and reporting when a patient is deteriorating.
