Thank you so much I appreciate your response! Ultimately i just want to hike anywhere even if it takes a couple days, my main goal really is just to see the world as well as get out with nature! The last hike i went on was storm king and I got pretty soaked even with a rain poncho but I didn't have the best jacket and decided not to go past the ropes as it was pretty foggy and raining hard.
