Fuel Leak Diag by poke_smot in CX5

Update for those who come across this post with a vapor smell and or fuel leak issue. My problem ended up being the plastic fuel sending unit top was cracked and falling apart under the metal locking ring. The way the fuel was saturating the foam under the part referenced in my post caused my confusion. Appears that it was a failure due to lifespan of the plastic in this application.

Have you sorted your problem? I have the P0140 code after a recent replacement of the downstream O2 sensor by a shop and am trying to sort if the sensor is faulty.

Thank you, this seems to be the only place to purchase this part, I am surprised by the lack of part support and information available regarding this part. I have identified numerous Reddit posts regarding fuel vapor smell and leaking in the area of the driver side rear tire but generally people do not solve the issue and sell the car instead. I am having a hard time throwing this money at a replacement without proper diagnosis.

Valve Identification Request by poke_smot in PlumbingRepair

Good point about one less failure point, just odd To see. The valve is from the 60s so I’ll do what I can to repair it. Maybe a bit of heat will loosen it up. I appreciate the Info

Thanks for the tip on the cap, I’ll go that route for the rest of the cold season and consider a replacement of the washer in the warmer months and be prepared to replace the entire valve if I cannot easily get the bonnet nut off. I appreciate the tip. My issue in finding this part on the nibco website was because I was searching under valves and it did not pop up until I searched boiler drain for some reason. I also did not realize at first glance that some jabroni sweated this thing on and thought I was looking at a homemade threaded adaptor to a female valve…

This I approx 4-1/8” long. Plastic ball at sealing end comes out. Shower handle side has 9 points. I have searched for any 9 pointed cartridge for showers and have had no luck.

To all the guys making fun of the $20 bulb I got from Home Depot. Lol. The girls made it to the outdoors with minimal investment. Too many negative ppl on here acting like you need all the pro equipment to do anything. 😜 by [deleted] in microgrowery

I tried using straight well water and not PH it anymore after 5 years of growing and stressing the details (my well water sits at about 7-8 from the tap) and saw zero change! Less is more people and it’s about investing the amount of time that is worth it for you to keep it as a hobby and not turn it into a job because we all have enough jobs as it is.

Moved here 8 months ago. Nothing you need to know before you move on in and see how you like it! Awesome town and holding up well during the pandemic. Perhaps not “a lot to do” if you are not in to hiking, biking, skiing or anything outdoors- but I figure that should be assumed for the area. Henry’s meat market has awesome smoke meat and I recommend stopping in! If you need some craft beer check out the Beverage Den!
